Cracked on First Use,
I was given one of these for Christmas and it cracked on first use despite using a diffuser as mentioned in the recipe book that was included. There were no instructions about seasoning the tagine so I assumed that was not necessary, perhaps I was wrong?

This is my first tagine and it hasn’t been a dissappointment. It looks beautiful and produces tasty and succulent meals for all the family. Easy to clean and looks like new. I would recommend this product.

|Cracked on 2nd Use!,
This was given to me and my girlfriend as a Xmas present. My girlfriend had already used it once, and cooked a delicious lamb dish in, although she had largely used it in the oven. It was my turn to use it next time, but my dish had to be cooked on the hob. I used the diffuser, and turned the hob onto low. The diffuser was clearly doing its job, because the butter in the tagine wouldn’t even melt! I turned it up slightly (bearing in mind I had to brown duck in it, and at the moment it wouldn’t even brown butter) – it was at this point that the tagine cracked! It was still on pretty low, and I was really annoyed with myself. I’d followed instructions to a tee. I was so relieved when I looked here and saw that others had had exactly the same problem. I think there must either be a problem with the diffuser or the tagine. I hope we’re able to get a refund.
